Creating the first Unveiling of "Fall"

So tonight I performed "Fall" at the Lionheart Theatre for the first time.

I think it went pretty well and I had some good feedback.

I'm doing my best to get the video loaded but it's taking a bit so it may be tomorrow before it happens....I know what a tease!

***Breaking News**** Joe is a hero and got it to upload!!!!

I'm so thankful that my friend Liz encouraged me to go for it tonight - even though I didn't have the poem completely memorized.

I'm grateful for my friend Ellen who had tea and listened to a read through this afternoon.

I'm so thankful my friend Eric and Shelly came out to bear witness and give terrific support.

and of course I'm thankful for Joe.  Who was sitting in the front row cheering me on  and tearing up a bit.

Alex was also in the audience tonight and I got a "good job" mom after it was over.

It was a little intimidating since the "house" was packed but I'm so glad that I did it!!!

Now to finish memorizing the sucker so I can go to Decatur and perform it for Ruth and Tony :)

Goodnight all,

  1. Yay! Glad it went well. I loved hearing it over tea. If you were half as expressive at Lionheart as you were at my kitchen table, I know you stole the show! :)

  2. Oh my goodness...I loved watching and being a part of your "performance" as that is what it was. A terrific performance! It was almost as if I were there in person...Wonderful job...

  3. So great, Seester! I love that you are doing spoken word! We should do a camp cruelty bit together! ;-) xo xo xo

    1. I LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! that idea!!! It would be hilarious :)
