As I reflect upon this past weekend and think about what to share, here are a few of the highlights:
Our senses were delighted with an abundance of yummy food. |
My view as I journal-ed Sat morning |
This weekend space was created for rest and relaxation, artwork, journaling, ceremony, lots and lots of fun InterPlay including the telling and witnessing of our stories. We also had time for beautiful views, waterfalls and fires. The home where we retreated surrounded us with beauty and had very comfy beds and pillows.

Saturday morning as I said my sunrise prayers and took in the crisp mountain air I was filled with gratitude and connection. In Texas, one of my Earthspring's sisters +Dawn Warren was facilitating her owl clan retreat at the same time. I am so grateful for all of the amazing women I have retreated with over the years and those who showed up for this beautiful Fall retreat.
Wrapping you around with infinite love and connection,
Christine
Sounds like it was an amazing experience :)

DeleteChristine, thanks for what you said the other day on Jenny. I just now read your piece on divine time, and it came to me afterI just now returning to the house from some truly divine time with the donkeys, one at a time. I sat on the ground in the meadow, good sunlight day almost 70. I called to Jenny and she walked to me, grazed around me, sniffed me, listened as I talked to her. She relaxed so much her eyelids drooped. I spoke lightly and she listened closely. She walked away when she was full and I called to Jack. He walked to me, grazed around me, sniffed me all over, then stood still while I talked to him. I wasn't touching, just talking, telling him I'm happy he is here living with me, that our lives have crossed paths. Jack walked on when he was full and grazed on hay I'd given them earlier. I sat watching them considering how blessed I am to have this desire to know the four-leggeds, because Ive discovered some marvelous beings in donkeys. So glad we have trust flowing both ways. Happy to know donkeys. Divine time.
ReplyDeleteTJ - I love this story and I know you truly do have a divine relationship with Jenny and Jack - one of connection and love. Thanks for peeking in on my blog :)

DeleteChristine - sounds heavenly. It was fun escaping with you to this retreat in North Carolina. Your post is timely for me, I've recently left what gave me peace and fulfillment and am looking to find it with a myriad of changes that didn't play out the way I envisioned. Thanks for the vicarious escape :-).
